The role of Vertical Markets Lecture/Blog Series Leader is a position that would make use of a professional’s intimate knowledge of a vertical market area (i.e., small business, fashion, entertainment, web-tech development, automotive, travel, etc) to lead a discussion of how Google products connect to their specified industry category. Within the vertical this professional practices, the job of the professional would be to better understand how existing Google products are being used by other professionals in this area, and to encourage new usage (of new and existing products) by colleagues in their category.
This role would require the professional discover barrier issues related to existing google products and to promote new/expanded google product usage by proactively teaching others how a variety of Google products can be integrated into everyday business/personal project efforts. This role would require the professional to maintain a forward-focused blog, and the ability to conduct interviews/demonstrations with trade press, and the ability to make presentations (online and in person) to a variety of vertical industry (small and large group) audiences.
It would be a pleasure to apply for this position, but it is not included in the list of jobs that are currently advertised at jobs.google.com, so I have applied for the following job instead:
Enterprise Mid-Market Product Marketing Manager (Americas) - Mountain View

This series is a skills showcase of Clint Garwood, a senior-level marketing consultant actively campaigning to get a Google job. I am happy to interview for and discuss this and other positions with Google (or with other companies) where my skills and extensive experience can find a good home. I am willing to relocate and/or travel extensively as a condition of any suitable work offer made to me. Thank you for considering me for Your Team. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
The series for my career blog in February will suggest a variety of new jobs/positions (for Google to create) that I am capable, willing and able to handle. While these job descriptions do not actually exist, I suggest that each new position I recommend could provide a significant benefit to a forward looking company. I am happy to discuss these and other jobs with any company where my skills and professionalism can find a good home.

Small Business Discussion Leader and Blogger
The position of Small Business Discussion Leader would be a role that requires a professional to engage small and medium business users/clients who use Google features but are not fully tapping the benefits and potential of these online tools to support their online businesses goals. Through the creation of a semi-personalized web-training series, lecture tour, and ongoing (i.e., daily) blogging, this new/suggested role would help bring information, solutions and motivation to small and medium business users in a way that helps them engage more fully with a wide variety of Google products.
It would be a pleasure to apply for this position, but it is not included in the list of jobs that are currently advertised at http://jobs.google.com so I have applied for the following job instead:
