The new suggested role of Small Business Web Product Trainer is a position for Google to consider creating in which a representative of The Company would provide instruction via web-based training sessions (and in person/small group sessions) to small and medium business owners and other professionals. This position would promote the use of new and existing business-focused products from the Google platform to individual business owners and groups including local chamber of commerce meetings.
The person in this position would be skilled in presenting/teaching people individually; and capable of answering a wide range of questions from multi-person groups about the benefits of business related products. This individual would also maintain a trade-show schedule where they would provide demonstrations to specific trade show audiences on new product launches. This position would also likely work closely with The Company publicity department to ensure new product launches are property covered by main stream media outlets and influential bloggers.
It would be a pleasure to apply for this position, but it is not included in the list of jobs that are currently advertised at jobs.google.com, so I have applied for the following job instead:
Product Marketing Manager, Search Advertising - Mountain View

This series is a skills showcase of Clint Garwood, a senior-level marketing consultant actively campaigning to get a Google job. I am happy to interview for and discuss this and other positions with Google (or with other companies) where my skills and extensive experience can find a good home. I am willing to relocate and/or travel extensively as a condition of any suitable work offer made to me. Thank you for considering me for Your Team. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
The series for my career blog in February will suggest a variety of new jobs/positions (for Google to create) that I am capable, willing and able to handle. While these job descriptions do not actually exist, I suggest that each new position I recommend could provide a significant benefit to a forward looking company. I am happy to discuss these and other jobs with any company where my skills and professionalism can find a good home.
