This new position recommended for The Company would share insight through an internal blog to document and discover the perceptions of Google labs and beta-level products, which are being developed and internally tested, by employees and various proprietary partners under confidentiality agreements. The Internal Blogger for Developmental, New and Beta Level products would be a password (intranet) level blog that makes use of internal communications channels to help provide developers with a history of feedback on products as they go through the development cycle.
This professional would be an internal champion of tested products, but also a bearer of bad news for any and all the products of which they review. The blogger would be required to develop a schedule of upcoming products to review and would also be responsible for updating old blog posts with fresh feedback as it is received. The blogger would be expected to understand the developmental timeframe that products are constrained by, and would be expected to solicit first-person feedback in a manner that provide engineers who are developing the product with ample time to include the feedback that is received back into the development of the product before the products are offered for review to external audiences.
It would be a pleasure to apply for this position, but it is not included in the list of jobs that are currently advertised at jobs.google.com, so I have applied for the following job instead:
Global Marketing Strategy and Operations Manager - Mountain View

This series is a skills showcase of Clint Garwood, a senior-level marketing consultant actively campaigning to get a Google job. I am happy to interview for and discuss this and other positions with Google (or with other companies) where my skills and extensive experience can find a good home. I am willing to relocate and/or travel extensively as a condition of any suitable work offer made to me. Thank you for considering me for Your Team. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
The series for my career blog in February will suggest a variety of new jobs/positions (for Google to create) that I am capable, willing and able to handle. While these job descriptions do not actually exist, I suggest that each new position I recommend could provide a significant benefit to a forward looking company. I am happy to discuss these and other jobs with any company where my skills and professionalism can find a good home.
