The role of Construction/Builder Market Lecture/Blog Series Leader is a Vertical Businesses Market position that would require a professional with specific knowledge of the challenges that builders, and other construction professionals face with working to integrate Google product usage into their existing online business based initiatives. Working closely with trade press, industry experts and providing on-site (if needed) personalized instruction seminars, this professional would work to trigger a new generation of Google business product usage from the vertical market area of construction professionals, building contractors, general services contractors, real estate professionals and other real-property developers.
This individual would be responsible for promoting the use and integration of specific tools that are available to these users such as Google maps, Adwords, Google lab products and other proprietary applications relevant to business practices. This individual would be required to maintain an external blog, and to handle request from industry groups, google business customers, trade show coordinators and members of the media.
It would be a pleasure to apply for this position, but it is not included in the list of jobs that are currently advertised at jobs.google.com, so I have applied for the following job instead:
Maps Enterprise Product Marketing Manager - Mountain View

This series is a skills showcase of Clint Garwood, a senior-level marketing consultant actively campaigning to get a Google job. I am happy to interview for and discuss this and other positions with Google (or with other companies) where my skills and extensive experience can find a good home. I am willing to relocate and/or travel extensively as a condition of any suitable work offer made to me. Thank you for considering me for Your Team. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
The series for my career blog in February will suggest a variety of new jobs/positions (for Google to create) that I am capable, willing and able to handle. While these job descriptions do not actually exist, I suggest that each new position I recommend could provide a significant benefit to a forward looking company. I am happy to discuss these and other jobs with any company where my skills and professionalism can find a good home.
