The suggested position, General Web User Lecture/Blog Series Leader is a new role that is akin to being a general Google Ambassador, who shares personal insight, technical knowledge and helps troubleshoot problems, issues and answers questions from a widespread general Google user audience. This discussion leader would be responsible for publishing a regular (external) blog which is specifically related to taking a question from a general user, and turning it into a solution for other users to benefit from.
This professional would be responsible for maintaining a written, video, audio and interactive-session profiles, which provides different formats of information to a variety of users, which can be accesses via multiple formats. Central to the position would be the ability to work with internal departments (like You-Tube production teams) to convert the general Lecture Blog Series presentations into multiple languages.
It would be a pleasure to apply for this position, but it is not included in the list of jobs that are currently advertised at jobs.google.com, so I have applied for the following job instead:
Director of Consumer Marketing, Brand Operations - Mountain View

This series is a skills showcase of Clint Garwood, a senior-level marketing consultant actively campaigning to get a Google job. I am happy to interview for and discuss this and other positions with Google (or with other companies) where my skills and extensive experience can find a good home. I am willing to relocate and/or travel extensively as a condition of any suitable work offer made to me. Thank you for considering me for Your Team. I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
The series for my career blog in February will suggest a variety of new jobs/positions (for Google to create) that I am capable, willing and able to handle. While these job descriptions do not actually exist, I suggest that each new position I recommend could provide a significant benefit to a forward looking company. I am happy to discuss these and other jobs with any company where my skills and professionalism can find a good home.
