The position recommended as Retail, Chain Store and Big Box Market Lecture/Blog Series Leader is a role that addresses the unique circumstances that are related to connecting Google web products with an online retail presentation, that is also connected to a brick-and-mortar businesses.
The professional charged as the discussion leader for this vertical market would tackle the difficult questions that store owner-operators and managers face relating to online vs. in store pricing, geographic market limitations, shipping, receiving, returns, mobile marketplace, website promotions and other challenges related to real-time online customer service. The individual that is responsible for developing a dialogue with these vertical market business leaders would have relevant industry knowledge and would be as comfortable performing a store walk as they would in describing the nature of an online ecommerce storefront. The individual should be prepared to handle inquires from trade press reporters, trade show organizers, and professionals working in all aspects of the retail store environment.
